St. Paul’s music ministry supports the worship of the church on Sunday mornings and at other choral services and concerts throughout the year. The music is supported by a dynamic community of dedicated musicians both professional and volunteers who comprise the Saint Paul’s Choir.
The choir sings every Sunday at the 10:00 AM Worship Service. The choir’s primary role is to lead congregational singing, which includes traditional Anglican hymnody as well as more contemporary liturgical music. Rehearsals are every Thursday 7:00-9:00 PM (If you are interested in learning more about the choir, please contact the Director of Music and Organist, Dr. Christopher Reynolds).
Choral services and concerts celebrate the seasons and principal feasts of the liturgical year according to the calendar of the Episcopal Church. Visit our Events Page for any upcoming musical offerings.
Canti CHildren’s Choir
St. Paul’s is proud to offer our children and youth the opportunity to receive an uplifting choral education in the context of Christian community. Our young singers will joyfully learn about worship, liturgy and the Christian faith while honing their vocal skills, and enhancing their understanding of music theory and sight-singing. For more information and/or to sign up, please contact Crystal Jonkman.
History of St. Paul’s Music & Organ
St. Paul’s has a long, rich history of musical excellence, featuring choral singing and organ performances during worship services and concerts. The church organ created by Manuel Rosales of Los Angeles was installed in 2000 in the north gallery. Its Greek-revival casework, constructed of Honduras mahogany, was designed by Philadelphia architect, John Blatteau.
