Whether they’re preaching, teaching, playing instruments, or directing programs and meetings, this diverse group is humbled and proud to be utilizing their spiritual and professional gifts for the glory of God and the operations of the church!

THE REV. DR. CHARLES T. DUPREE

RECTOR

Charlie is an ardent believer in extending the warmth and radical welcome of Jesus in all that we do as a church, and that we should never stop wondering and asking questions about our faith.


THE REV. GWYNN CRICHTON

ASSOCIATE RECTOR FOR PASTORAL CARE AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Reverend Gwynn Crichton graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in May 2020 and was ordained to the priesthood on September 14, 2020. Gwynn is passionate about empowering disciples as the Body of Christ for loving and serving others to make God’s reign of love and justice known to all of creation.


THE REV. RAINEY DANKEL

ASSOCIATE RECTOR FOR PARISH LIFE

The Rev. Rainey Dankel graduated from high school in Richmond, so coming to St. Paul’s was, in a way, a “return to her roots”.  After leaving the Richmond area, she spent a good part of her adult life with her late husband in Wilmington, N.C. working in city planning and government, as well as public radio.


THE REV. ANDIE ROHRs

ASSOCIATE FOR PASTORAL CARE

The Rev. Andie Rohrs came to Richmond last fall from the Diocese of Southern Virginia.  In her previous position, she had the privilege of serving as the Associate Rector at St. Andrew’s, Norfolk for nine years where she oversaw parish life, pastoral care, and family ministry. 



THE REV. BENJAMIN P. CAMPBELL

PASTORAL ASSOCIATE

Besides being a priest and known civil rights activist in Richmond, Ben is also a father; a husband; a twin; a seventh-generation Virginian; the author of Richmond’s Unhealed History, and the founder of Richmond Hill, a residential Christian community and spiritual retreat center in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond.

DR. CHRISTOPHER REYNOLDS

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC AND ORGANIST

Christopher holds a doctor of musical arts degree in organ performance and church music from the University of Michigan, studying with world-renowned organist Dr. Marilyn Mason.


Crystal Jonkman

Music Associate

Crystal is an accomplished Episcopal musician. She earned a Master’s degree in Church Music/Organ and Choral Conducting from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.


LINDA WILLIS

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY MINISTRIES

A native Richmonder, Linda holds an AAS in Early Childhood Education as well as a BS degree in Christian Education.


BO CRESSWELL

Director of Formation & Fellowship

Bo loves St. Paul’s and is committed to creating a safe, welcoming space in which our young people will learn, grow, and cultivate meaningful connections with God and with the church.


Sarah Whiting

DIRECTOR OF Operations

Prior to joining St. Paul’s Episcopal Church as Director of Operations, Sarah Whiting was Director of Operations and Capital Projects at the Valentine Museum.

Director of finances

A native of Philadelphia, Aliesha works in our business office as our financial administrator/accountant.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATE

Carter, the Administrative and Membership Associate, is often the first person visitors meet.


MICHAEL DABNEY

FACILITIES SUPERVISOR

Mike, a Richmond native, loves the people and the atmosphere here, especially the outreach ministries and the way they help people.


ULLI ROBINSON

KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

Originally from Germany, Ulli has been cooking and baking for many years, and St. Paul’s now benefits from her culinary expertise.

NURSERY COORDINATOR

Michele is a 20-year resident of Richmond originally from New Jersey.  She has mostly worked in medical offices and possesses a medical assistant diploma. Michele has worked in the St. Paul’s nursery for 5 years, and previously worked at 2nd Presbyterian for 6 years.

SECURITY PERSONNEL

TJ from Scorpion Security Solutions provides professional security services every Sunday to ensure a safe worshipping space. Parishioners are encouraged to report any issues or concerns to TJ as they arise.
