Downtown
Outreach on behalf of those in need in metropolitan Richmond
This ministry encompasses direct service and outreach to and advocacy on behalf of those in need in the greater metropolitan Richmond area.
Emmaus
Volunteers serve lunch and distribute clothing and toiletries to 150 persons every Thursday, with local social service organizations providing health and wellness support. We provide financial assistance, including referral to ACTS (Area Congregations Together in Service), a local non-profit dedicated to preventing homelessness. Emmaus is part of a 40+ year old collaboration of five neighboring churches that all provide weekday meals and other services to the downtown community called the DCM (Downtown Community Ministries).
VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program)
This is a University of Richmond program hosted by St. Paul’s that offers free tax preparation to low-income families and individuals each year between February and April in the St. Paul’s Undercroft.
Gun Violence Awareness

Every second Sunday of the month, St. Paul’s raises awareness about gun safety by encouraging parishioners to wear orange as together we pray by name for the victims of gun violence in Virginia.
Circles RVA
The Circles RVA model empowers individuals and families to permanently move out of poverty and thrive by engaging the strengths, good will and existing resources of the entire community.
