St. Paul’s music ministry supports the worship of the church on Sunday mornings and at other choral services and concerts throughout the year. The music is supported by a dynamic community of dedicated musicians both professional and volunteers who comprise the Saint Paul’s Choir.
The choir sings every Sunday at the 10:00 AM Worship Service. The choir’s primary role is to lead congregational singing, which includes traditional Anglican hymnody as well as more contemporary liturgical music. Rehearsals are every Thursday 7:00-9:00 PM (If you are interested in learning more about the choir, please contact the Director of Music and Organist, Dr. Christopher Reynolds).

St. Paul’s Choir Pilgrimage to Lincoln Cathedral | The St. Paul’s Choir will be participating on a Pilgrimage to Lincoln Cathedral (UK), serving as the Choir in Residence, July 13-19, 2026. Spaces will be available for those who would like to participate in the trip, supporting the choir, information on the cost of the trip will be set this summer. The choir is still needing to raise funds to help cover the cost of the trip and donations are welcome. Checks can be sent to the church office at 815 E Grace St., Richmond, VA 23219 with “Choir Fundraiser” in the memo or you can donate using the button below. Thank you for your support! St. Paul’s has a long, rich history of musical excellence, featuring choral singing and organ performances during worship services and concerts. The church organ created by Manuel Rosales of Los Angeles was installed in 2000 in the north gallery. Its Greek-revival casework, constructed of Honduras mahogany, was designed by Philadelphia architect, John Blatteau.
